Travel Teams

Travel TeamIf you are frustrated with the local intramural programs where you are forced to play “bad baseball” with poor instruction all spring just to have an opportunity to play on an all star team that will compete for a state or national championship. There is another way to compete for a National Championship!! We would argue a much better way. The Brandywine Valley Baseball Organization is a 501(c)3 AAU Club vying for a position as the premiere not for profit organization for the development of competitive baseball in the Brandywine Valley. Players that affiliate with BV have a chance to qualify and play in AAU, USSSA and CABA World Series events. They also have the opportunity to play in The National Youth Word Series. During the fall, spring and summer the players compete in tournament level leagues and participate in various tournaments at world class facilities( Cal Ripken, Diamond Nation , Sports at The Beach, ESPN World Wide of Sports ,East Cobb and Cooperstown All Star Village).

Mission Statement

The primary goal of the BV Big Dogs is to develop baseball players for high school baseball and beyond, through playing competitive amateur baseball at the highest possible level. We endeavor to achieve our goal by building character through teaching the value of a strong work ethic, commitment to a goal, good sportsmanship, teamwork, and the promotion of a winning attitude. We, as Coaches, stress the “right way to play the game” through teaching the fundamentals and respect for the rich heritage of the game of baseball. With BV, winning is the result of “building character though competition.” We feel the benefit of teaching such values will produce resilient young men and women of outstanding moral character with a solid foundation of life-skills with which to grow into quality role models for youth of the future. .
